Privacy Policy

Thank you for your interest in our online shop. The protection of your privacy is very important to us. Below we inform you in detail about the handling of your data.

1. DATA ACCESS AND HOSTING

You can visit our websites without giving any personal information. Whenever you call up a website, the web server merely automatically saves a so-called server log file, which contains e.g. the name of the requested file, your IP address, date and time of the call, transferred data volume and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the call.

This access data is evaluated exclusively for the purpose of ensuring the trouble-free operation of the site and improving our offer. In accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO, this serves to safeguard our predominantly legitimate interests in a correct presentation of our offer in the context of a weighing of interests. All access data is deleted at the latest seven days after the end of your visit to our website.

Hosting services by a third party provider

In the context of processing on our behalf, a third party provider provides us with the services for hosting and displaying the website. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in a correct presentation of our offer, which outweigh the interests of the parties involved. All data collected in the course of using this website or in forms provided for this purpose in the online shop as described below are processed on its servers. Processing on other servers only takes place within the scope described here. This service provider is located within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.

2. COLLECTION AND USAGE OF DATA FOR CONTRACT PROCESSING AND FOR OPENING A CUSTOMER ACCOUNT

We collect personal data when you voluntarily provide us with this information as part of your order, when contacting us (e.g. via contact form or e-mail) or when opening a customer account. Mandatory fields are marked as such, because in these cases we need the data for the processing of the contract, or for the processing of your contact or opening of a customer account and you cannot complete the order and/or the opening of an account or send the contact without their indication. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data you provide us with in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO for contract processing and handling your enquiries. After complete processing of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after expiry of the tax and commercial law retention periods, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this which is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this declaration. The deletion of your customer account is possible at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the contact option described below or by using a function in the customer account intended for this purpose.

3. TRANSFER OF DATA

In order to fulfil the contract in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO, we pass on your data to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods. Depending on which payment service provider you select in the ordering process, we will pass on the payment data collected for this purpose to the credit institution commissioned with the payment and, if applicable, to the payment service provider commissioned by us or to the selected payment service for the processing of payments. In some cases, the selected payment service providers also collect this data themselves if you open an account there. In this case you must log in to the payment service provider with your access data during the ordering process. In this respect the data protection declaration of the respective payment service provider applies.

We use payment service providers that are based in a country outside the European Union. The transmission of personal data to this company takes place only within the scope of the necessity for the fulfilment of the contract

Data transfer to shipping service providers

If you have given us your express consent to do so during or after your order, we will pass on your e-mail address and telephone number to the selected shipping service provider in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a DSGVO, so that they can contact you before delivery for the purpose of delivery notification or coordination.

This consent can be revoked at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below or directly to the shipping service provider at the contact address listed below. After revocation, we will delete the data provided by you for this purpose, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration.

This serves to protect our legitimate interests, which outweigh the interests of our customers, in a promotional approach in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO.

The advertising mailings will be processed on our behalf by a service provider to whom we pass on your data for this purpose.

You can object to the storage and use of your data for these purposes at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below.

This website also uses the so-called DoubleClick cookie as part of the application of Google Analytics (see below), which enables recognition of your browser when you visit other websites. This serves to protect our legitimate interests, which predominate in the context of a balancing of interests, in the optimal marketing of our website in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO. The information automatically generated by the cookie about your visit to this website is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The anonymised IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google.

Google will use this information to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website use. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in the optimal marketing of our website, which outweigh any other interests. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Finally, you can set your browser to inform you when cookies are set and decide individually whether to accept them or not, or to refuse to accept cookies in certain cases or generally. If cookies are not accepted, the functionality of our website may be limited. Use of Google (Universal) Analytics for web analysis

For website analysis, this website uses Google (Universal) Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC (www.google.de). This serves to safeguard our legitimate interests in an optimised presentation of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO, which outweigh the interests of the parties involved. Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods that enable an analysis of your use of the website, such as cookies. The automatically collected information about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By activating IP anonymisation on this website, the IP address is shortened before transmission within the member states of the European Union or in other states that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The anonymised IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not combined with other Google data. The data collected in this context will be deleted after the end of the purpose and use of Google Analytics by us.

Google LLC has its headquarters in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. On the basis of this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has established an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.

    6. MARKETING NETWORKS

    Google AdWords Remarketing

Through Google Adwords, we promote this site in Google search results and on third-party websites. To this end, when you visit our website, the so-called remarketing cookie is set by Google, which automatically enables interest-based advertising by means of a pseudonymous cookie ID and based on the pages you visit. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in the optimal marketing of our website in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO. After the discontinuation of the purpose and the end of the use of Google AdWords Remarketing by us, the data collected in this context will be deleted.

Any further data processing will only take place if you have agreed with Google that your web and app browsing history will be linked by Google to your Google account and information from your Google account will be used to personalise the ads you see on the web. In this case, if you are logged in to Google while visiting our website, Google will use your information along with Google Analytics data to create and define target audience lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, Google temporarily links your personal data with Google Analytics data to form target groups.

Google AdWords Remarketing is a service offered by Google LLC (www.google.de). Google LLC has its headquarters in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. On the basis of this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has established an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.

    Facebook

The Facebook pixel is a service of Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. It enables us to determine target groups for advertisements on Facebook, so-called "Facebook Ads", based on website visits and surfing behaviour there. We also use this pixel to measure the effectiveness of online marketing measures. In this way, we can track the actions of users after they have seen and/or clicked on a Facebook ad and then placed an order. When the website is called up, the pixel is integrated directly by Facebook and can store a cookie on your end device. If you subsequently log in to Facebook or are already logged in to Facebook, your visit to the website will be recorded in your profile. The collected user data is anonymous for us and therefore does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the user identity. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook so that it is possible to draw conclusions about the respective user profile. The data processing by Facebook is carried out in accordance with the Facebook data usage guidelines. If you are not a member of Facebook, you are not affected by this data processing. For a deactivation of the Facebook pixel please click here: Disable Facebook Tracking.

    Tiktok

We use the so-called "TikTok pixel" of the provider TikTok (for EU: TikTok Information Technologies UK Limited, Aviation House, 125 Kingsway Holborn, London, WC2B 6NH.) on this website. This is a code which we have implemented on our site. With the help of this code, a connection is established with the TikTok servers when you visit our website in order to track your behaviour on our website, if you have given your express consent. For example, when you purchase a product on our website, the TikTok pixel is triggered and stores your actions on our website in one or more cookies. You have the option to withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. There are no costs for this other than the basic rates.

Personal data such as the IP address and other information such as device ID, device type and operating system may also be transferred to TikTok. TikTok uses email or other login or device information to identify users of our website and associate their actions with a TikTok user account.

TikTok uses this data to display targeted and personalised advertising to its users and to create interest-based user profiles. The data collected is anonymous and not visible to us and is only used to measure the effectiveness of ad placements.

In principle, your data is processed within the EU or the EEA. For this purpose, a corresponding data protection agreement has been concluded with TikTok. Where personal data is transferred to countries outside the EU or EEA, this is done in accordance with the Commission's model contracts for the transfer of personal data to third countries (i.e. standard contractual clauses).

This is a service of Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA. This service allows us to track the activities of users on our website when they come to our website through ads from Bing Ads. If you come to our website through such an ad, a cookie is placed on your computer. A Bing UET tag is included on our website. This is a code that is used in conjunction with the cookie to store some non-personal information about your use of the website. This includes, but is not limited to, the time spent on the site, which areas of the site have been accessed, and which ad was used to access the site. Information about your identity is not recorded.

The information collected is transferred to Microsoft servers in the USA and stored there for a maximum of 180 days. You can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the site and the processing of this data by disabling cookies. This may limit the functionality of the website.

In addition, Microsoft may use cross-device tracking to track your usage across multiple electronic devices and may be able to display personalized advertisements on or in Microsoft Web pages and apps. You can disable this behavior at http://choice.microsoft.com/de-de/opt-out.

If you call up a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of Facebook, Google, Twitter or Instagram. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly to your browser by the respective provider and integrated into the page. Through the integration of the plugin, the providers receive the information that your browser has called up the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a profile or are not logged in. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a server of the respective provider (possibly in the USA) and stored there. If you are logged in to one of the services, the providers can directly assign the visit to our website to your profile in the respective social network. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the "Like" or "Share" button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a server of the provider and stored there. The information is also published in the social network and displayed to your contacts. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in the best possible marketing of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

The purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by the providers as well as a contact option and your rights and settings options for the protection of your privacy can be found in the data protection information of the providers.
